Everybody says this over and over. It does not f**k up your handling. You just need to buy stronger springs to make up for the added weight. I have 2.5" on the rear and moved to 1.5" integra drop springs on the front. Works just fine.

i think everyone mentions it because they are usually thinkin' of just doing the swap only and nothing else. lookin' at it that way, some things could come up, besides motor swap noobs dont think about all the small details. all these swaps are good, it just depends on how much time and effort you're willing to put into your motor IMO

well for one guys it only costs 2500 for a h22a j-spec to get swaped into an EG5 and thats all i got to say about that. and you dont need to hammer the engine bay, i got it to fit all perfectly, with powersteering, thank you very much. and the stock h22a j-spec straight from jland is 220 hp@ 6500 rpm, cause myne was all stock when i got it and i slaped that sucker in and went straight to the dyno. and there is no way a b18c is goin to be better then the one and only powerhouse of all honda engines, as long as the h2 is built by payn technologies...but for one the shiping is what gets you.

as far as performance upgrades, i think the type R can overcome the the monsterous H22A. If they just more upgrades more readily available for the H22 then the H-series would become the R-motor. by tha way WALLY_BOB how is your suspension? did you upgrade that yet?...just curious not tryin' to be a jack-ass

i just got an air suspension and called it good, but i done a little fixin up in the rear, so when ever i wanted to race i just stuck a few custom shackles on the axle and lock pinned them in to the custom fabricated arms i welded on the bottem of the car...its a sweet deal.i ran high 12's stock then after i got it back from payn tech it ran low 11's. but later down the road with all the racing i was doin i was alway forgetin to check the frame around the passenger moter mounts and then it got to late and riped them suckers right out and snaped the tranny mount right in half. it was fixed in a week but i got ride of the car to a very good friend and the car has not changed since. other than he switched from next racing seats to sparco's.

pretty cool set-up man....i know a lot of people who dont go out of there way to set the suspension right for that motor.

Interesting things that are being said about the h. Rofl, and most of them poorly misguided. No AC? No PS? See what happens when i go away for a while? LoL, some people should do some net hunting before they "know for a fact......"

As far as suspension goes, it is an absolute must to upgrade those front springs. I have Ground Control Coilovers on my setup and all i did was call GC and order some replacement h22 spring rate springs for the front. Im rollin on stock struts still and the ride is not bone jarring nor is it uncomfortable at all. The only time it gets kinda bouncey is when im hittin serious bumps. Other then that the ride is nice. I do plan on gettin rid of those stocks though, and replacin em with some KYB AGX.

well that herts the ears...if they dont care for there hondas they need to invest in something else. and by that i mean they need a neon.lol. well i took me damn near a month to figure something out and my buddy brian thought of this and it works great. the custon arms are welded straight to the frame and everything else was made out of chrom-moly.

That custom setup of yours sounds nice. Do you happen to have pics? I would love to see that setup.
