Oh okay, great! So which engine would I ask for? Would I ask for seals and gaskets for a D16A6?

No, if you are looking for any gaskets or seals for the block then you would be looking for a d15z1 or 92-95 civic vx motor, as far as anything for the head you would be looking for d16z6 parts.

Alright, so when I go to the dealership and ask for the parts, all I have to say is that I need seals/gaskets for a D15z1 block, and all the seals/gaskets for a D16z6 head? I just dont want to come out looking stooopid. Thanks for all help guys.

That is correct but, you shouldn't need new gaskets or seals, that one of the reasons of getting a d15b vtec orver a d16 z6, less mileage, means it's less prone for gasket and seal wear, I haven't replaced a single gasket or seal, besides my exhaust manifold gasket, because I use my old on from my other engine, because this one didn't come with a b-pipe. And I have had a single leak anywhere except on the tranny drain plug, because it wasn't tightened back good after the install.

Hmmm, which do you suggest I replace? Head/exhaust/intake gasket?

I didn't replace nothing but the exhaust gasket, it's up to you, but since the head and intake came attached, and there was not need for removal I didn't replace them, haven't had any problems.

Alright, how about the timing belt? Do the automotive stores carry timing belts for a D15B? Or do certain engines share the time timing belt?

just get the honda part number off of the timing belt and go to a honda dealership, should be the same as for U.S. cars.

you will need a vx timing belt, or a power timing belt for the d15b vtec if you want a performance minded one.

Can you get a VX timing belt in the USA? Or would I have to get it imported?
