I would be jealous if I had an new Evo. I was jsut asking if it could really run 25.5+ (like someone else said) without internals. Actually, I didnt think that a stock Evo could run 22psi. But I didnt know stock boost was 19psi..

hey man... the evo's internals are forged, and like i said you don' thave to build the internals or bottom end till you hit about 400awhp.. it has a cast iron block... not like an aluminum high compression honda engine. the 4g63 is not some piece of crap engine that'll crap out at 25 psi. people DO run that, but it's not good for the turbo--notice, i said turbo, not engine... anyway, why in the world would mitsu put in a turbo that would hurt the engine if you boost it up a mere 3psi? that's ridiculous, and i don't think you quite realize how crazy it sounds when you say that you need new internals for a STOCK turbo.
