I have a friend in san mateo county, who has a 97 EK-swap k20a jdm swap !!!! bone stock engine other than a Exhaust . !!!! Vs my other friend who have an 01 M3 -mods-grupe M exhaust-intake- rolling stagger 19's. iam behind them, as the light turn GREEN Ek took off!!!! iam thinking WTF ? still in shock.... they shut it down in 3 gear...ek gain around 2 n half car length !! * now in this case its a EG much lighter compare to a EK !! so you be the judge of that.

the m3 is probably a little slower than stock with 19's on. bolt ons don't help the car much since it's so highly tuned as is.

there is no f**king way in hell that hatch has just a k20. even with bolt-ons...a hatch with a k20 would never pull that hard against an evo even at stock boost levels.
