what's the Dual Locking Adjusting Collars compared to the Single Adjusting Collars? they both cost the same but I want the red springs but they are the Single Adjusting Collars. the blue ones are the Dual Locking Adjusting Collars which sounds better.

the red ones lock with an allen bolt that tightens it to the spindle. the blue ones have two spinners that lock together so that the spindle will stay in place. both are good, but the blue ones require a spanner wrench to adjust. the red ones are easier to adjust. all you do is raise a tire and spin it until they are dropped to the height you want. then tighten the allen back and drop the car. its that easy. just like the ground control ones.

thanks, I'm going to oder the red ones right now. the way I look at it is: if I don't like them I only wasted $40 (+ shipping)
But you seem to love them so I'll go for it.

wow! your the man I need to talk to.
how's the swap? I'm looking at getting a b18c1 w/200,000 miles on it for $2200 going to offer $2000 when I get the money.
Once I get it I'm going to open it up and redo everything b4 putting it in so I save money that way. then I plan to turbo sometime down the road.
also, I have a b&m short shifter that rattles. how do you make it STOP?

check the shift linkage from the tranny. it may be loose. just look at the bolts and tighten them up. a b18c1 is an awesome motor. i shouldnt tell you what to do, cuz i may have different plans than you. did you want to turbo it or not? there are many different turbos for your car. i have a greddy(im not too pleased with it). my homeboy told me it was good. HKS makes a good one, and they are jdm. for a turbo, it is better not to have a vtec since the turbo will actually kick in before the vtec(unless having a vtec timer(as i do)). one of my bros has a 2001 teggy gs or ls. i cant remember. it is non-vtec and it is all motor. he has apexi full cat system and dc header. aem intake and cams pulleys and port and polished head. he has a different gear ratio(cant remember that either). but that car is faster than mine. i cant wait til this summer when im out of college and can redo my car. know anyone that wants a c5? dude, email me and i/we can talk more in depth, and i can get you specs and figure out what you want to get doen aight? cool, peace l8r.

p.s. hope the coilovers work.

can you say wow V

one word....compression. better compression ratio for turbo. less turbo lag without a vtec also. want a HKS turbo instead of the shitty greddy

Got my coilovers today. Now the only problem is, how do I get the nuts in the engine bay off? They're rock solid! any ideas?
I understand what I need to do to change over to coilovers but I need to know what tools I need. My local performance shop charges $150 to install them. What a rip-off.

go to you local auto parts store and get a nut loosener. spray that on and let it set. if not, find an impact wrench. installing you coilovers is really easy, and shoutldnt take you more than 2 hours(since it is ur first time). good luck. any other questions, just holla. also, loosen all lower control arm bolts before you loosen you strut mount points on from and back. cool.
