This guy.

Jeez what's with you guys? Haha.

I know, I know. I need inspiration. I need drive. I haven't really been myself lately. I was thinking about selling the coupe yesterday morning... :(
Would you expect any less? :D

Do NOT sell your car. NO. NO. *rolls up newspaper* NO.

MRs have weaker differentials.
You planning to make over 900hp? It wont matter unless you do.

My buddy has his at 400whp, and his diff has been no problem. Another guy around here named Mike had a white Evo VIII 5spd, made 380whp, and blew third. Upon browsing forums/talking to other Evo owners, this is really common for the 5spds.

the #1 source for problems with evos and wrx/stis is beginner drivers who don't drive properly and abuse them. That's where most of their "bad reliability" comes from.
This. Except if it's an NSX.
you don't really want a NSX. It sounds cool but I don't think you'd actually get much fun out of it from the modifying scene

That's a very valid point. That and kids are going all "hellaflush" on drivetrains that aren't meant for it.

And a big part of me would want to keep the NSX bone stock.
