AGREED! I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life, and I'm overweight and broke LOL.Another thing is having no job can be hard on the other person in the relationship, give your wife a hug and say thanks for all you do and your understanding. Being down all the time can take its toll so don't let other things go. I learned this the hard way lol.
But I have the most supportive, most caring, sincere man in my life I have ever met. We find little things to do for free, and we cherish all of our time together.
Every Sunday evening him and I go on a little cruise, and usually get kiddie ice creams. To some that is stupid, but we love it. This past Sunday we included 2 other couples and it was great.
We have our favorite shows we watch together, his favorite video games that I watch sometimes, he plays in the garage w/ the boys and I make sure they're fed/watered(lol sounds like pets), he supports my love of animals...so much more that we do.
I've found us being closer than ever, w/o spending hardly any money at all. Any time money is an issue...which isn't often, we insist upon sitting down w/ our accounts open online and figuring it out.
ANYHOW..............................
From what you've said, your wife and you are very aware of each other's feelings and stress. Money is a definite ruiner, but it sounds like you trust each other and are determined to make it work.
