Yeah you know your in the wrong with the ticket but I've been reading a lot of the threads on here and I would say 85% of all the threads I read could be put in a "bashing/hating" section. Hopefully he's learned his lesson about the speeding. Good luck with the court date bro.

You're luck you got a ticket instead of your license/car towed. You were doing 20+ MPH over the posted speed limit, most states consider this reckless driving.

Take your punishment and pay the fine.

lucky for me, i live in a small ass town so i get away with going 50 thru town which is mostly 35 or 40. i keep a very close eye out for everything going on around me. plus i know all the spots cops like to hide. our county cops don't have radar but troopers come around every so often.
i know what it's like to be totally broke and have to pay a speeding ticket. when i got my first one i had just quit my job and only had a little bit of money from my tax returns. not only that but i was dating a douchebag that had no job and sucked up my money like it was coke!
just pay the fine, be more careful next time, and be on your way.

come on man, this is clubcivic. paying tickets is cool. i mean its basically like just throwing your money away, but thats ok. just pay the fine without any argument and it will make you really cool and mature. the older you get the less you care about your hard earned money and those points on your driving record, you know?

the best thing to do is pay the fine and ask the officer really really nicely and very respectfully to reduce it so you dont get any poinnts...

i work for a sheriff's office and our deputies are fairly nice... if he does then great if not then oh well... just pay and get it behind you...

if you do the whole court thing though... good luck i mean... damn you were way over the posted limit...

It's called maturity something you don't fully understand.

Someone with maturity understand that the ticket is the consequences for speeding. When someone tells them to fight the ticket, all they are saying is "Hey, go fight any kind of punishment you get. You don't deserve the punishment."
