first off..
:welcome: to cc...

i have heard recently that even lojack is no good...i heard that there are a certain number of places where they usually place lojack and thieves know well nenough where to look..i wont give out any locations here on the site but i'm well aware of them..
so if i could find out so can they...

but i heard a new viper gps that came out..
which will call u if ur car moves more than 3 feet as well as call the police for u...
can u shed any light on that...

if it doesnt work in my area and its not found in 24hours I'll be getting 6k and insurance $$ = is300 or g35 so i'm ok if they steal it or not

My deterrents consist of a cheap ass alarm that works, Autoloc, The Club for whenever I am out and about.
When I am at home, my garage/shop has an alarm, along w/ the rest already listed........

Oh and these wherever myself or my car may be.........

Never had a problem since.

nice choice on the first one, i personally have the model, as for the second you'd be better off throwing at em  , although firearm laws state that you can't legally kill over property, your life must be in danger, so you'd end up in the slammer for that one

" I feared for my life " A deadman can't testify in court.

Never ever had a problem w/ my Ruger. A great cheap firearm. I'll dare anyone to stand 30 ft away against me and a 40. cal Ruger and you throwing a Ruger ar me and I bet I'll be the only one walking away.

Hmmm, i was thinking, how about a switch that looks like a kill but triggers a siren. I can rig up a relay so it wont shut off until you cut the siren wires after the relay =)

it takes a couple seconds to cut siren wires. it would be easier just to buy a back up siren. the back up sirens will still go off if the wires are cut.

If I have to park my car somewhere outside for a night or more, I take the ignition coil out.

Okay, I see what you're saying. I haven't heard of this technique much but I think that it would just cause the thief to just break off whatever is fastened down by the starhead screw. But if it's cost affective give it a whirl. My brother's license plate just got stolen and I was thinking of doing something similar to attach the new one when he gets it.
Finally found a place that has locking hardware like I was talking about.
