Its a gunmetal color.

The rotary is a great engine. It just doesnt do well with emissions or noise controls in place. It is a race engine. High revs. Race gas. Premix and maintenance required.

If you watch them and keep on top of oil changes and such then they will run for a long time.

Theyre like a 2 stroke dirtbike..,

ahh yea, good ol pre-mix... it was always funny seeing peoples faces when i would open a bottle at a gas station and pour some in.

BTW, what plugs will you be running?

So i found a way to not run an oem water pump (that i just bought) and run a remote water pump setup which will allow me to put my turbo where i want it.

I need to do more research on this, but thats the game plan for now...

Sounds like a great plan!! Gotta have that turbo mounted right up there in the front looking all bling bling.. speaking of which, you should take it apart and get the compressor side polished/chromed.. or dipped in gold. I saw some like that and they look AMAZING, besides, this build deserves it!

The turbo needs to fit in between the upper water neck and lower neck and clear the frame and the upper control arm when laid out and also allow the exhaust to dump and collect the wastegate dump also while clearing the steering column.

Its a b***h.

So basically i thought i could just run a remote water pump and not have to worry about the upper water neck, but after some research i dont think its worth the money to do it.

Its always something...

i dont like the sound of a remote water pump on a rotary... they have issues with overheating as it is and throwing a variable like that in the mix could spell disaster.

Actually theyre way more sufficient than a block mounted water pump(mechanical) and they are proven to free up horsepower at the wheels.

Its just not something i am going to do on this truck. s**t is already getting out if hand. I must admit itis pretty cool though!

Busy day today. More updates...

Installed my new water pump and finished up my Gilmer drive pulleys and installed the belt.

Then spent some time squaring up the front end and put the bumper and s**t back on.

Then put my dash back in and trying to figure out what i want to do for the tranny tunnel. I dont wanna use the stock piece but perhaps ill bend up my own using it as a template.

And finally trimmed to fit my driveshaft tunnel. Need to do a little more to it, but this should fit quite nicely!
