I dont think I necessarily agree with the "not yours, yours" logos either. To me, in a way, the logo is implying that ANYONE who is Mexican shouldnt be here. I dont agree with that. I think that if someone who is born in another country, goes through the proper procedures to be here legally, then by all means they are welcome.

I think the logo isnt Italian or Russian or Japanese because we dont have a SERIOUS problem with people from those countries sneaking in, and especially a serious issue with them causing huge problems.

I dont think its right the government isnt doing anything. But it also costs resources for the government to take care of such a HUGE problem. Resources that we could DESPERATELY use in other areas to help stimulate our economy.
look at the level pf technology, coupled with the amount of money... we invest in fighting wars like in Iraq, or even the "drug war" for example.. does it not seem kind of ironic that we are fighting a war across the ocean to strike down terrorists, but yet we leave our border virtually unsecured.. kind of defeats the whole purpose..

if we have enough money to shoot endless streams of rockets that EACH cost more than most US homes... I am pretty confident we could build a pretty big f**king wall and man it with security.. i mean we run all over the f**king place chasing drug dealers... we have rifles that can blow a quarter out of someones hand from a half a mile away in the dead of darkness... I am not buying that we lack the resources to seal up the border..

as far as the yours not yours.. i think its pretty obvious.. but if not allow me to explain.. many people who immigrate from the other side of the world (think Europe), either come here for a shot period of time (think work visa) earn some money and go home.. OR move here and blend into our society, becoming AMERICANS.. the problem i have with central/southern America is they have these "protests" where they express a feeling of entitlement.. in so far as to claim things like they are "taking over the country" waving Mexican flags and s**t.. This is America.. i don't go for that s**t... I view that kind of s**t as hostile intrusion.. when was the last time you saw groups of Italians, Germans, etc.. getting together in mass protest claiming that this is the "new Europe" But even with that said I ONLY support LEGAL CONTROLLED immigration..

Its about time they crackdown on illegals. I have no problems with mexicans who want to come to america and work as long as they do it legally. Personally i think they should shoot at those crossing illegally.

OC I still stand by my opinion lol.
I %100 support controlled legal immigration.. with that said for me personally.. i would be far more interested in making someone a citizen who wants to become PART of AMERICA.. as opposed to someone immigrating from another nation who proclaims that this is their "peoples new homeland"...

dude... that doesn't even have to be a law in order for cops to pull you over because you are brown. It happens all the time here in Michigan and we have no such law. One thing tho... I have nothing to hide and will provide my id to show who I am. I've gotten used to being pulled over because "I look like a suspicious person" or "fit the description of a drunk driver".

how can someone really not understand the law is made in a state that borders mexico where illegal aliens are pouring in by the millions? It makes PERFECT sense and maybe if the law would profile more, there'd be less crime.

I'll tell you one thing tho.... I haven't been f**ked with since I bought my new car. I f**king love it!

CLEVELAND -- A U.S. immigration court granted asylum to President Barack Obama's African aunt, allowing her to stay in the country, her attorneys said Monday.

The decision was mailed Friday and comes three months after Kenya native Zeituni Onyango, the half-sister of Obama's late father, testified at a closed hearing in Boston, where she arrived in a wheelchair and two doctors testified in support of her case.

The basis for her asylum request hadn't been made public. People who seek asylum must show that they face persecution in their homeland on the basis of religion, race, nationality, political opinion or membership in a social group.

Her lawyer, Margaret Wong, said last year that Onyango first applied for asylum "due to violence in Kenya." The East African nation is fractured by cycles of electoral violence every five years.

In a November interview with The Associated Press, Onyango said she was disabled and was learning to walk again after being paralyzed from Guillain-Barre syndrome, an autoimmune disorder.

Onyango moved to the United States in 2000. Her first asylum request was rejected, and she was ordered deported in 2004. But she didn't leave the country and continued to live in public housing in Boston.

Onyango's status as an illegal immigrant was revealed just days before Obama was elected in November 2008. Obama said he did not know his aunt was living here illegally and believes laws covering the situation should be followed.

A judge later agreed to suspend her deportation order and reopen her asylum case.

Wong has said that Obama wasn't involved in the Boston hearing. The White House also said it was not helping Onyango with legal fees.

In his memoir, "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance," Obama affectionately referred to Onyango as "Auntie Zeituni" and described meeting her during his 1988 trip to Kenya.

Onyango helped care for the president's half brothers and sister while living with Barack Obama Sr. in Kenya.

No. That is just an ignorant comment. I feel bad for idiots like you who are too retarded to understand s**t. And I bet you didnt even read any of the thread or anything to inform yourself of what the law is actually about, or why it is in place. As biz said......Arizona has illegals pouring in, and they are committing crimes such as murder. How can you honestly compare Nazi's hunting down Jew's simply because they believe in a certain religion, and a state putting a law in place to protect its legal citizens from being murdered or kidnapped by illegal immigrants.
