I hope my car is a lil faster as well when i get my D16Z6, ill have AEM Cold Air, Ractive 421 header, and APEXI cat back. Ill have a lil fun with that!

Like I said. At 117 MPH the limiter would come on and cut the fuel forcing the car to slow down. So maybe anyone that thinks they went over that should check your spedo cables maybe they are streched out. Or maybe you are running a chipped ecu to bypass the limiter. But you would know if you had that because you would be able to hold the car in one gear untill it blew. But since you dont once you hit redline in any gear the limiter comes on.

the rev limiter is set (i think) a grand over redline from the factory but it'll smack my rpms back down once i hit it.1994civicdx said:

LOL! I KNOW that I'm a better driver than he is! I raced him while he was in my car and he was in mine, leaving him by about 4 cars just now. It was my first time driving a Prelude and i know my car does not have as much power and I dunno how the hell I kept up with him. My car is quicker than the other Civic's and Hatch's I raced tonite though.neandercris said:

In the future I'll smoke him, but right now, the lude is a beast of a car for ME to be messin with. Thanks you guys for all your posting. I guess in the end it was BS, but can you blame me? How was is supposed to know he drove like granny? LOL!!!!!

ill take my punkass and then ill get either a video or a pic of my car going over 117mph.....its just a stock 95 civic Hatchback Si.....with an AEM cold air intake....oh by the way i was in 5th gear so maybe it has someting to do with it....cas my 90 accord would hit the gover. at 115...but if u put it in 5th it would go till 120 then hit the rev limiter....also my friends 95 GSR we got up to 141 MPH

I raced a friends 92 hatch with everything i have just about.. And i smoke him.. maybe cause im a better driver i dunno but couple weeks ago before i decided "lets rebuild my front end..new fenders/bumper/hood (my bumper/fenders were crap.. an hood i mite keep or get a CF one).. anyway i was drivin to his house w/ my moms plates on my car just to show him how my project was coming along..an he says well i dont think its as fast as u think..so we raced on his dead end street..i smmmmoookkkkeeeedddd him beyond belief..AT LEAST 2 car lengths..he says "it was close".. bullshit it was a*****e lol.. anyway i kno what ur sayin i feel the same w/ my D15.. but an old man also was original owner an he didnt beat on it obviously so i think i got a good motor..so till it dies no B18 for me yet.. EM1 u get ur exhaust yet?

I hope my accord doesnt have any of that weak ass limiter s**t, so far ive only gotten it up to 105.

I don't think your friend knows how to drive. No offense, but if someone knew how to drive that lude, he'd have spanked that ass! I don't think you could hit 125 in your car either...
