x 10.. hehe.. when u post pics.. u have to expect the good and the bad opinions... hehe.. not everyone is gonna like your ride.Todd said:dude chill, this is not a praise thread... it's an opinion thread. if all you wanted is praise than you are in the wrong place
Mugenkid18 said:i had a short ram intake on the car before FM, i noticed a big difference, esp in the winter time so i kept it, why toss something that works b/c people think is ricey?
actually, those intakes kill performance. the piping is so long and constricted to get the filter out front th ere that theres more restriction in the pipe than a stock intake, and theres no more cool air o ut front of the car t han there is in the wheel well.
post these "dyno resluts"Mugenkid18 said:...which explains the dyno results
well.. as far as drop goes.. i dont know why you dont jus get a set of Tein S-techs for now.. they cost what? $120? throw those in... the ride is great (SI shocks are pretty damn good actually)... your height will be brought down a lil not huge camber problems, the ride will feel about the same, a lil more response when driving... and it only costs you a little... then.. when you get the money for full suspension, jus throw that in too, sell the used S-techs for what? $80-90? hehe.. your not really losing out much... but i guess thats jus IMO...Mugenkid18 said:like i said before, i dont mind "constructive critisism" but he just took it to a personnal level from his first reply and on. i agree, the car needs about an 1.25" drop, im not interested in some amatuer lowering springs that are almost "universal fit". full prof. tein suspension with shocks isnt exactly pocket change. not interested in manually removing my front lip via pavement thrash either so a 2" drop would be stupid, camber kits dont come cheap either. i had a short ram intake on the car before FM, i noticed a big difference, esp in the winter time so i kept it, why toss something that works b/c people think is ricey?
you must have missed the part about the removable debri shield.true said:and with it in the front like that, its prone to crap flyin in like who knows.. bugs.. dirt.. rocks.. i dunno.. jus doesnt seem logical to me. but who am i.. hehe..
ok, check the reply before yours and tell me what you have to sayTodd said:i still want to see these "phantom" dyno results
if you bring dyno results up as proof then i'd just expect you to actually have dyno results to back it up
*edit* i never pretended to be the expert on these, so lets pm handle and see what he says
that would have been the part when i saidMugenkid18 said:ok, check the reply before yours and tell me what you have to say

just waiting on a response from handleMugenkid18 said:exactly. anything else?
hehe.. no i didnt. but thats what i mean. its not functional. yea it might be functional with the debris shield, but then your not getting the gains you want... and with it off, then we're back to having crap fly in... either way you look at it... it jus doesnt make sense.Mugenkid18 said:you must have missed the part about the removable debri shield.
or just get a sri which has better low/mid rpm gains then cai'strue said:you could get a regular cold air intake and get possibly (90% sure) better gains than your current setup... and not have to worry about debris shield/no debris shield...
wow kid, there's no way around this... you're just an a*****eMugenkid18 said:yea, dont talk about things that defy your intellect
yea.. depends how your plannin to use the car and with a sri you dont have to worry about suckin in water everytime it rainsTodd said:or just get a sri which has better low/mid rpm gains then cai's
