i gave you the dynos, results under worse case scenario. why would i put the effort or money into another system when what i have is suffecient. 7hp gain with the debri shield on and car not moving is gain enough for me. when i run the car on weekends in sunny weather, the shield comes off. thats versatility that no other systems have and there is no risk of water injestion b/c of the little thing called an air bypass valve, and if your thinking "oh, well that drops the horsepower down" the dyno results include the bypass valve

yea.. J's is nice. but it costs an arm and a leg... i personally am a fan of ARC products if im going JDM.... a lil pricey.. but definitely worth it =)

you're saying you got a 7whp gain WITH the debris shield on AND a bypass valve.... wow! i'm calling :bs: on this one son. there's no intake out there that can produce those gains... specially with a bypass valve. i'm going to have to see more proof then a fuzzy dyno to beleive that one.

and lets get down to the bottom line.. you've modded, you've dyno'd, now what do you run in the 1/4? and i'm not going to believe that you wasted the money on a dyno after putting on your ghetto intake but havent ran it at the tracks yet... that would just be retarded

your not getting the point here.. i can understand that you already made the decision to get your FM intake... so thats that, and theres nothing wrong with that... but i was just giving my 2 cents that *I* would have gone with a regular CAI, mainly because you *would* have more gains... and you wouldnt even have to worry about taking shields off/on at all.. and yes, i've heard things about this bypass valve before... so you can put down the turbo magazine now. that is all.

its quite simple. arospeed = crap. along with anything else with the word speed in it.. lightspeed.. maxspeed.. whateverspeed.. and sure, if thats what you like, and you can justify why you like it, than sure, but im jus telling you about better options out there... perhaps maybe you could upgrade to in the future? no big deal.. jus take it.. and smile. =)

when's the last time you've dyno'd your car? you must have put down a solid 110 horse! i dont care what you believe or what you dont, my car will still smoke yours on the strip, track or even sitting still. i think youre just a waste of my damn time

i never said i had the nicest, fanciest or most expensive intake on the market. its the only mods on my car without the letters JDM or Exedy in the title. why spend $300+ on an AEM V2 system that may only perform with another 1 or 1.5 horse; because you dont like the name, im sure if it had COMPTECH written on it you'd feel otherwise

well i'd sure as hell hope your car could beat mine, i have no performance upgrades and my motor came from the factory with 45 less hp than yours... but then again i never claimed my civic was fast.. not ever in one post on this site have i claimed that as a matter of fact nor does it have any baring on wether or not your telling the truth

and on the same note i own a few cars that could probably leave you in the rear view quite easily :thumbs up

do you really think that Front mount intake adds 8 additional hp? wow thats sad, the truth is its taking AWAY horsepower if you where as smart as you say you are to todd you should take it off and put the stock air box back on and bet you think your "typeR" accessories add "Horsepower y0"..and appearently you dont understand s**t about cars, your headlights or any thing that has nothing to do with the engine doesnt effect your 1/4 mile time what so ever, unless its one of those huge shopping cart wings or 19' Rims(ie they make you go slower)..so shut your mouth and stop talking, this is an opinionated thread you posted your car, and you where clearly wanting opinions, people gave them to you and you took it up the ass like a little homo. and again, i only gave other peoples opinions on fmi. i dont own a motorcycle, i'd rather win with 4 wheels, it's just the way i am. while my civic may not be fast, i purchased it for that reason... that and i was paying $400 per month for my gsx's insurance. now that a couple tickets dropped off my record i should have a gsr within a few weeks and my civic is going to my gf

hmm.. yea i guess your right buddy. all these companies out there spending all these R&D dollars on makin a great part, would only make 1hp more than some generic pos thing that sells at your local Pep Boys.. i guess i better return my toda header and get an ebay one.. your right...

all im sayin is that I KNOW you bought that intake for looks.. thats the reason why everyone who bought that i've seen or met bought it... but they admit it.. and i jus want you to do the same..... but i give up. im playin the silly game of goin back and forth and i apologize.. to each his own bud. but please dont ask for opinions if u dont want them...

id like you to explain that to the professionals at RandDmotorsports.com of charleston, my local tune shop. they just so happen to run the Honda Challenge every year and win it. where do you think those ITR headers came from, a f**king race car with my same engine... apparently you dont know s**t about cars, at least not hondas
