They actually don't do too terrible! Definitely not a practical snow car haha, but it gets me around. The car wants to drift more than stay straight, but it has so much control its still easy to drive =)

But! If I get stuck on a hill, with RWD and no weight in the back, I'm kinda screwed..

where do you find these cxracing radiators you speak of?!

Well, here's a new picture from yesterday, I know its not much to look at =/

I will be picking up a set of black C1's most likely for my daily wheels to replace these daisy's, then a roll bar and paint will come. I'll post more pics as I get stuff in =)

so i dont get it, you had all that "stuff" on there to only take it off, but keep the car. did you not like the mirrors, steering wheel and other goodies- aside from the rims.

Like I stated before I did a half-partout, the lady lost her job and we needed money. So, I parted with most the parts, and was planning on selling the car mostly stock. But, I picked up a second job, so I'm making more money and now I can keep it.

Yeah, it was a setback but oh well. I was planning on getting rid of the wheels and spoiler anyways. The mirrors were eh, OEM ones look much better. The Nardi wheel is going back in, I'm just waiting on my hub to get in

Anywho, we got our first major snow storm...the miata did great and I definitely had some fun in parking lots ;)

Definitely is!

New wheels and lug nuts ordered! Wheels are 15X7.5" with 0 offset. They will fit much better underneath my already rolled fenders, so I can run a meaty tire, straighten out my camber and actually track this bastard rather than having wider wheels with -12 offset like I use too.

Preview of the wheels that are coming in:

I have a month and a half till I get them, so any suggestions on some tires? I want them to be a good daily tire that has decent treadware, but also has to be good on the track. Oh, and something somewhat affordable :P

Let me know your suggestions! I will be running 205/50's or 195/50's.

I actually ordered 195/50/15 Toyo Proxes R1R's, I wasn't going too, but the car will be doing most races in my regions SCCA races. I've heard nothing bad about R1R's, so I went with those =)

I'll be keeping the softtop, but I won't need it on for awhile considering I have a hardtop haha.

Alrighty, well I removed the soft top. It was old and raggedy, I'll still keep it though just in case I ever need it. It saved me quite a bit of weight too. Plus, I don't need it during the winter since I have a hardtop, and in the summer, it's either hardtop or topless!

The old top...nasty

Folded down..

Got to work, and removed it. It was only 3 bolts on both sides, then about 10 10mm bolts holding the soft top to the boot

After! Much more room, gotta clean up the edges and vacuum it though lol

And with the hardtop back on..

Oh, I also got my Nardi back in there ;)
