The guy said I need injector seals because I have a vacuum leak there.

Not sure. Guessing because he is a service salesman. haha. He gets paid to lie and charge people more than what they should be charged.

Before you get new injectors, check this site out. I had mine refurbished there for ~$70. They are flow tested before and after cleaning. They are also bead blasted. Basically 4 new injectors when they come back. Great customer service too.

Here is mine when I got it back. They include new seals too.

YES! Mine do not look like that. haha. I replaced the green o ring and the bottom ring that fits in the slot on the manifold.

UPDATE!!!

CAR IS FIXED!!! Partly at least.

Well, as some of you may or may not know, I've needed a new driver's side front axle ever since I bought the car. And after a few failed attempts, myself and some good friends got a new one in and, let me tell you, it is like I just bought a new car.

As it turns out, someone who previously owned the car, had taken out the full EM1 axle setup and installed a DA half shaft. This is why the original axle was messed up. After 3 separate purchases and returns of Civic axles, I got a DA axle and it fit like a charm. The only reason I can think of why someone would use a DA half shaft, is because they are stronger than normal EM1 shafts. Oh well.

In addition, instead of paying $1500 for a small list of things from Honda, my friends did the following:

-HID install
-Wire tuck
-New spark plugs
-New spark plug wires
-Fixed leaking valve cover gasket
-Installed axle
-Cleaned throttle body
-Engine tune

All for only....................$500!!

Car is running stronger than ever. All that is left to do is get a new clutch kit, and find out if either my switch or my driver's side window motor is broken. But those are things that can be done at a later time.

Onto the pics. First day in the shop

Valve cover off and gasket getting fixed

Cam gear block, slightly removed to be more JDM

Throttle body removed for cleaning

Planning HID wire tuck/mid tuck

Axle being replaced

Bumper back on by my goofy ass

Finished product

That's all for now. I'm in the process of getting another EK as a winter/beater/donor car, so that's the main focus. And other than that, the next big update will hopefully be my repainted valve cover, header shield, intake and manifold.

Some pics from a recent meet.

On a side note, I ordered an Exedy OEM Replacement Clutch Kit and am getting another throttle body with new sensors and a good throttle spring. Mine tends to get stuck quite often between 1-2k rpms. Also, I am going to start repainting the engine components today.

Yep. With new sensors. Local guy has it for only $40.
Oh ok, I though you meant NEW OEM throttle body. I was just wondering because they are like $460 from Honda, so I was going to advise you to look for a used one.
