IIRC those cam caps are machine bored with the head. You need a new head or need to get new rocker caps and have a shop remachine your head to match them.

Had the same thing happen on my sedan. Got the whole harness from a car in a local junk yard for next to nothing. Just took some time to get it all out, what I didn't need I just cut off and left it there.

What brand are the steelies? Look at the hole and see if they are ball seat or tapered. Pretty cut and dry. Take a close up picture of the hole and post it if you can't figure it out.
