    91 lx not starting

What makes you think it is ignition related? Sputtering can point towards fuel as well.

How to start out modding my car? (92 Manual DX Hatch)

Kind vague with your question. That is why you aren't getting any answers. I would recommend browsing through the build sections and get an idea for the route you want to go, set a budget, and then start modding. None of us can tell you what to do to your car style wise, but I will tell you...

    Windows, radio, locks stopped working

Almost positive it has to do with the same wiring mess you have going on in this thread: http://www.clubcivic.com/forum/threads/interior-lights-wont-work.229688/#post-3436145 Closing this thread. Update that other one if you have more stuff to add to it. :thumbs up

    Exhaust for 7th gen

You would be better off going to an exhaust shop and have them custom make a new one with a GOOD name brand muffler of your choosing. That cheap chinese ebay one is junk, been there done that. Mine lasted a short period of time before blowing the insides out on the freeway one day. I...

    Windows, radio, locks stopped working

Looks and "are good" can be 2 different things. Test the fuses with a tester for continuity on both ends. If in doubt just replace them, fuses are cheap. Who wired the radio? Which fuse circuit is it getting its keyed power from? What wire is the main 12v constant run to? Radio and windows...

Diagnosing an assortment of issues with a 92 civic hatchback.

Tune up for the d-series: Plugs (only factory NGK), wires (same no aftermarket crap), distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil filter, pcv valve, I would adjust the valves with it having that high of mileage, and air filter to start. Inspect the whole car for major wear. I would also...

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

Sold my CBR last summer to a coworker because I didn't ride it anymore. Only had 2600 miles on it. It is an '03. I was the second owner, bought it from a young guy that only put 400 miles on it and didn't like riding so he ditched it. I basically took over his payments which was about half...

Newbie, and my Civic is misbehaving

Our tire course instructor put it something like this: there are metal spiked shoes that people wear for different reasons be it for digging into a roof when doing shingle patch work, or a mountain hiker using them for traction to dig into an icy cliffside. Imagine walking around in those on...

Newbie, and my Civic is misbehaving

I agree with @XpL0d3r, you should NOT be driving aggressively on dry roads with studded tires. I would bet a good guess as that being the reason you are losing traction and it could be a very good indication of why the tire went flat. Driving aggressively could have pushed one or more of the...

    Knowledge needed

We have all been there. Unfortunately, there is no budget power on a d series let alone a 1.4. Only way to get any noticeable power out of it is forced induction (turbo, supercharger), fully building internals, or NO2. None are cheap and easy.

    DIY front alignment?

Again, not going to cause excessive wear to the inside of the tire. Your tires are wearing excessively because the toe alignment is off. Only correction is to get it aligned back to specs.

    Knowledge needed

He has a 1.4. Those things have less than 100hp stock. Not going to get anywhere near 150hp with exhaust and intake.

    Nail polish for scratch removal?

Our mobile scratch and dent guys love it when girlfriends and wives try to fix paint with nail polish. More money for them to fix the terrible job and poor match. Like XpL0d3r said, some claim that it works, but then again they claim that just an intake will net you 50 more HP to the wheels...

    B16A w/ A Few Mods... HP/TQ Estimate?

Same with the injectors. Nothing you have added justifies the increase in fuel flow. Also don't really see a reason for the tune, except to maybe balance out the extra unneeded fuel being dumped in there to get it back to a reasonable mpg range.

2000 Civic bad front end problem

Keep in mind that there are tons of documented cases (google will help you with that as well as the search function here) that say NOT to flush a honda automatic if it has never been done before. That is a perfect way to make sure of a future failure if it already hasn't failed. And no, 200k...

    DIY front alignment?

Tires don't wear FAST on the inside edge from camber. That is a misconception. Your tires are wearing rapidly on the inside because the toe alignment is off and the tires are scrubbing the pavement as you go down the road. Getting a camber kit will fix that bad camber, but your toe is still...

What engine? What car? Like said, you posted in '92-'95. Are all the plugs getting spark? Is the fuel pump priming? Is the battery fully charged? What is the color of the spark? Does it do it when cold? Warm? First thing in the morning? After driving and then returning after being in...

    D16y7 Misfire

Put OEM wires in and find an OEM distributor. These don't run well with cheap parts, especially not cheap ignition parts. To the one above, main relay won't throw a misfire code from what I have seen.

Overfilled engine oil. leaking like faucet now

I really hope you aren't using that thick diesel car oil in your CBR. You do understand that it has a wet clutch and they specifically state to use oil formulated just for them (HP4)? Trust me, you don't want to be replacing a clutch on that thing.
