Engine Shut off and Start Issues 98' Civic

That quote doesn't look unreasonable. You want to know what our shop rates are here? $145 and HOUR. Doesn't look so bad now does it? It's like complaining about fast food being expensive and slow. You can certainly cook the food yourself. Do the work yourself and save the money or pay a...

    Anyone near oregon coast?

Better, that wasn't too hard was it? And no, not many from around there from what I have seen. Can't expect to start a dating thread if you don't tell people where to look for you....

Rear tires rub when I hit bump

Not even close. My fitment is on point, dialed in with proper offset wheels, spacers, and a good set of fully adjustable coilovers. Why? Your wheels are a terrible offset and are rubbing because they fit poorly. You need camber and correctly stretched tires to pull off an offset like that...

    Engine

You aren't making any sense. The engines aren't manual or automatic, the transmissions are.

New here & could use help with wheels for 00 civic LX

0 or 10 offset is going to fit like garbage and look terrible on a car that isn't set up for it. I would recommend to google a tire/wheel fitment calculator and do some number crunching.

Engine Shut off and Start Issues 98' Civic

1hondaparts.com. <----- put your car in there and have at it. That or google and look for aftermarket prices, although it is highly NOT recommended to cheap out with aftermarket stuff on the parts you are needing to replace. ESPECIALLY the main relay and the distributor.

    Anyone near oregon coast?

That is a little vague. The "coast" spans the length of the state.

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

Ahhhh, yes that explains it all. More than likely drunk AND out on bail from previous drunk driving AND felony burg charges. Also has left the scene of multiple accidents before this one. Unless that was their log list for the day and not just his. Kind of confusing.

Engine Shut off and Start Issues 98' Civic

 Did you inform them they can drive it for a length of time? Legally they can't just do that without your SIGNED permission and they most definitely can't just take it home overnight. You do understand how many legal issues that provides right? If they were to get into an accident after...

Engine Shut off and Start Issues 98' Civic

Have your brother fix it if he knows so much. If they can't get it to duplicate, they can't get it to duplicate. Until they do they can't narrow it down. Are you going to pay them to randomly test stuff YOU or your brother thinks it is?

Which Parts fit my 1993 Honda Civic DX?

This. Sedan hood and fenders are longer. The main headlight is the same but the side section attached to it (amber plastic housing) is meant to meet up with a sedan fender.

    My Baby Was Stolen :(

That definitely sucks! =( So you are the only owner of the vehicle since new or was it in your family? How can you guarantee that it was the only set? There is no way if you are multiple owners down the line. Then again, my key fit and worked in my old roommates 94 accord (I had a 93 civic...

More on this? Was he high? Had to be on something or no license, insurance, etc to run like that. Unless he knew he was f**ked and panicked.

    New to this

I'll be the bad guy. Not going to happen. The little engine in your car was built and tuned for GAS MILEAGE. To make it faster you need either a bigger engine swapped in, build the hell out of the internals, or you need to boost it through turbo or supercharger. None of which is good for...

Automatic Transmission Filter for a 2005 Civic LX

He's right. Upon further checking it appears that they "don't got no" filter in them their automatic transmission thingy-mabobbers. Next time don't settle for just one dealer. They are all different. That is why there is so many of them. Like anything else, some are good and some are bad...
