    B16A w/ A Few Mods... HP/TQ Estimate?

:welcome: Breaking it down, motor mounts, radiator, injectors, and clutch won't net you any more power. B16 makes somewhere around 150hp at the flywheel. Sooo add on maybe 10-15hp? Depends on the tune also. But don't expect crazy numbers. EDIT: Unless you plan on boost, don't bother with a...

    Nail polish for scratch removal?

:welcome: I've heard that it does work, and many sources online claim that it does work. However, I have not used it. I've used Scratch-X type stuff and that seems to work on light scratches ok.

New to Club Civ, wanted to share my ride..

:welcome: to ClubCivic! A B18B is a good choice for a swap. Fairly easy, and good power gains compared to the D16 motor in there now.

    Cold air intake?

I've cleaned up your thread and deleted all off-topic stuff. I'll leave your post since you're OP and that made me laugh. Any more grammar BS between anyone else will result in an infraction. :thumbs up Carry on.

    2016 Presidental Election

 I agree with you there absolutely. I think we're on the same page. It's tough to implement free tuition because that costs money, but it's definitely not impossible by any means. In the long run, I think it helps America. Less student loans = more spending = higher GDP. None of these...

    2016 Presidental Election

Because when you see, first hand, someone struggle with an illness simply because they can't afford treatment, what are they supposed to do? Suffer? I think there should be some basic level of healthcare for everyone. If you choose to pay more, or use a privatizes system, you'll get better care...

    2016 Presidental Election

I make beyond college money. Nothing incredible, but enough to where I can live comfortably while still paying $600 a month for school loans. I don't own a home so I certainly cannot attest to that. I do agree, a person who is successful should not have to pay more in taxes simply for being good...

    2016 Presidental Election

Unless you make absolutely bank, Bernie's tax proposals really aren't that bad. I hate linking to CNN because I try to find unbiased sources (yeah, right), but take a read here: http://money.cnn.com/2016/03/04/pf/taxes/bernie-sanders-taxes/ I'm ok with taxing the super wealthy. Most of the 1%...

If you're asking for personal opinion... yes. But my opinion is not your opinion. If you like it, go for it.

    97 EX Too Much Oil?

@Bradley Robert It could be a bad PCV valve. I've also heard of blow-by getting into the intake tubing, which could certainly be the case if too much oil is in there. Crankcase is vented to the intake manifold. PCV valve helps the motor breath / relieve build up pressure, and if it's choked up...

Confusing engine. D Series or Z Series?

:welcome: There is no Z series. A SOHC ZC motor is basically a D16z6. I wouldn't go by the color of the valve cover, people can swap those out easily.

    NOLAcivic's Daily friendly EJ8 build.

Too low, probably. Not slammed, but almost as low as you could go on them. Would have gone lower but my 3" downpipe / exhaust would have been too low. The issue was, Tein wouldn't exchange it unless I sent it in for them to look at first. They would exchange it if they determined it was a...

    NOLAcivic's Daily friendly EJ8 build.

Looks good! I had Tein Street Basis on my Civic. Minus the unfortunate event where one leaked a few months into owning, I really liked them!

    DIY front alignment?

Well, really it's either pay for an alignment now, or pay for new tires later. Alignment would be much cheaper.

    DIY front alignment?

An alignment really isn't that much $. But, I would et new springs first. Cut springs aren't cool. If the passenger wheel is leaning in, aka negative camber, you can correct that a bit by getting a camber kit. But I still recommend an alignment regardless.
