    Slushing noise from gas tank

200k Trinidad dollars is like $30k USD. I'm guessing importing new cars onto an island isn't very cheap. @VJP Sounds like a common issue though. When you brought it into the technicians, did they recommend some sort of fix...

I need some help, where does this bracket go??

That was my thought as well, but, looking at the picture of it in this bulletin, they look different: http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/tsb/civic/x99-029e.pdf

    Honda Civic 2004 part reference

Looks like some sort of cover that goes over something to the power steering rack. If you google just the S5A-RH, A few things come up for the rack itself. I'd take it to a dealership and see if they know what it is.

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

Wishing you, your mom, and fam the best man. Here's my take from VT over the weekend: Lucked out tremendously picking up some Heady. First store I walked in to, they were totally sold out. There was a big sign saying "Heady Topper Delivery Schedule.... Friday 5pm."... It was 4:50pm. So I...

    2001 Honda Civic Ex

Yeah, because if you kept your D17, bought a new clutch for it, then swapped in some other motor a couple months later that wasn't a D17... you'd need to get another clutch anyways. Your only option for a swap really is a K-series at this point. 7th gens and B-series motors won't get along.

    2001 Honda Civic Ex

Figure out your motor/boost plans first and then go from there. If you get a new motor, like a K-series, you'd need a different clutch anyways, since a D-series clutch won't work with K-series, etc.

    Noise coming from clutch

Sounds like input shaft bearing to me. Same exact thing my RSX does now

^ This. All a stage 2 clutch would do, assuming everything else you have is stock, will make it tougher to drive, and nothing more. If you don't need it, stick with OEM.

    central locking stopped working

Definitely check fuses. And always remember to disconnect the battery! Not doing so is like performing heart surgery on someone without giving them anesthesia first, lol

    My first civic

:welcome: to ClubCivic! Car looks good! If you have Skunk2 coil sleeves on stock struts, that's an issue. Though, many aftermarket suspension setups will be more stiff than OEM.. that's just how it is. The creaking noise... it's not clicking, right? Clicking is probably a CV joint problem. If...

    Header help

Then you'll be fine. I had a 3" downpipe with my boost setup and only a very small flat spot on it after pulling it years later to part it out.. never affected performance. Also had to deal with speed bumps on campus

Off to VT tomorrow for a snowboard trip. 15 of us have a condo rented out right on the base. Too bad the snow report isn't too good and the weather is supposed to rain on Saturday  I plan on getting a case of Heady Topper and maybe some other fancy beers though. PS I finally cracked a...

I agree with all except Tahitian green and Rio Red. I would swap that for Iced Teal Pearl and Milano Red. Midori takes the cake though!

'07 Civic Si: Air Intake related code?

http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/mechanical-problems-technical-chat/264415-p0172-system-too-rich.html Replace the aftermarket intake with the stock tubing, then reset the ECU. The ECU will need to "re-learn" everything, but should ready within 30-40 miles of driving. You won't be able to pass...
