The thing is, it wasn't negligence. The snow barriers were in place, I just happened to be going under the highway at the exact moment the plow came though.. snow barriers are basically giant fences with screens. But really nobody was at fault. It was one of those giant state plow trucks, not a...

Tail light problem! '08 Civic Si

Not sure if your model has one (I ASSume it does...) brake light switch under the brake pedal that will get pushed when you step on it. Make sure that isn't broken.

    Exhaust routing and backpressure

:thumbs up Greg is a great guy, good choice going with his stuff. That exhaust should at least last a few years. If you don't like the sound after you can always get some aftermarket muffler.

Honda Civic 2000, air conditioning needed

:welcome: I would shop around on Craigslist for a use OEM compressor and OEM parts rather than something aftermarket. Any 96-00 compressor should work. Maybe even 92-95, not sure.

5 speed pops out of 2nd gear

:welcome: Sounds like your 2nd gear synchros are going bad. You'll most likely need to rebuild it.

K series or another D17 like you already have. I would recommend you search this a bit -- you're definitely not the first person to ask this question :thumbs up

    Exhaust routing and backpressure

The issue with that, is the stock piping is too narrow for a boost setup. But I hear you, many people have had horror stories with eBay purchases. The other issue with purchasing a high end exhaust, is that it's pretty common for the turbo downpipe flange to mismatch that of the exhaust. This...

03 civic abs and eps light flickering. need urgent help!

Grab a multimeter and test voltage at the battery posts. Test the battery with engine off, it should be about 12.5V. Then turn the car on and make sure there's no load to it (lights, AC, etc. off), and it should measure 14.5V. Then test again under load (high beams on, AC at max, rear defroster...

03 civic abs and eps light flickering. need urgent help!

:welcome: to ClubCivic Did you wash your engine bay by any chance? Looks like something similar happened here: http://honda-tech.com/tech-misc-15/warning-lights-flashing-like-mad-over-charging-high-voltage-problem-2701585/ I would start by testing your alternator.

Well in a way, he did spend the money elsewhere.. in his turbo build haha And I get you, just through personal experience I had no issues. I may have just gotten lucky as I'm sure these types of things are hit or miss. Mine lasted 3 years and would have lasted longer; it was the rest of the car...

    Exhaust routing and backpressure

I disagree. See below. ;) @A]]Th!ngSound , you'll probably be fine. Exhaust systems sound a LOT different once you add a turbo to them. For what it's worth, I bought an identically priced cheap exhaust on eBay when I did my boost install. I bought it for the piping and also purchased a Vibrant...

'96 Civic CEL codes: what to do?

@mrpepsalgado P0420 is most likely related to a bad catalytic converter as @Diana Nam said. Basically, your car has two o2 sensors, a primary and secondary. In between these sensors is your catalytic converter (cat). The purpose of the cat is to reduce emissions. So, the primary sensor gets an...

Driving to work this morning, was driving in the underpass of a highway, when a state plow went over it. Of course, it flung a bunch of dirty snow, dirt, road grime, ice onto my car. Car looks like someone hurled piles of s**t at it: Cleaned up some of it and it's revealing a whole bunch of...
