That just sounds impractical. Get new wheels or suck it up and deal with improper fitment.

I have to disagree, to an extent. I ran 3" catless exhaust from my turbo manifold back, and it sounded very good. It was sourced via eBay, too. I had purchased a Vibrant muffler thinking the sound would be horrendous, but it wasn't nearly as loud or raspy as I thought it would be, so I returned...

tapping out at 5500rpm at WOT

http://honda-tech.com/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/i-cant-pass-5500-rpms-2041597/ Maybe this thread can be of some help? I've seen this issue before but have yet to see a clear reason behind it. I suppose there may be more than one reason, so maybe the linked thread above can point you in...

Parked car and it never started again

CEL = Check Engine Light. If it's on, pull the codes, as they provide key information as to what your issue is

So here is a picture of her.

Look into how to do the o2 sensor defouler trick. Basically it just puts the secondary 02 sensor out of the direct flow of exhaust gases. You want it where it's able to detect some exhaust gases, just not all of them. This way when it sends data to the ECU, it thinks the cat is there and working...

Why? Nothing wrong with a deep sounding exhaust flowing freely.

    Brand New Civic:mod advice

Superchargers and turbos are not for show... they are for go! ...At the cost of a few thousand $ to be done correctly. It really depends, though. What's your budget? What's your power goal? Does your power goal fit realistically within your budget?

    1999 Honda Civic Problems

By X you mean gas, right? Sounds like a vacuum leak and also possibly bad motor mounts

    rear springs 96 civic

This must be a NC thing.. when I was traveling from Charlotte to some beach, we were keeping count of small cars with wheels to large. We ended up losing count... OP, get new wheels if you want your problem to be solved correctly. Civic's are not meant to be 4x4's

    1999 Honda Civic Problems

What about when the car is idling, do the RPMs fluctuate then as well? Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak somewhere if that's the case.

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

I know I regretted the loan that came with my G35... glad I got rid of it. It went from here to IL to SC now I think, according to the VIN # when I occasionally check in on it.

Damn man, sounds like qualifying is an endeavor in itself. Three friends of mine joined the Marines. One kicked ass, one was a medic and got shot (he survived), and the other is now a full blown alcoholic unfortunately. All served tours somewhere. And a friend of mine, his best friend committed...

    Subframe brace; Progress or ASR?

Chiming in to say I have Tein Street Advance on my RSX and I am VERY happy with them. Night and day difference compared to stock, and honestly not that harsh of a ride. Bumps are meh, but for the most part I never even notice. I had Tein Street Basis on my Civic, and I did not like them one...

Need to replace my 09 Si.

No problem! It doesn't have to be a Honda forum, though. I bought my old G35 though a local automotive forum that was not make/model specific. I bought my RSX through Craigslist and traveled by train to central PA for it. There may not be any Honda clubs down there (there aren't here), but these...

:welcome: Craigslist, local forums, local dealerships, and AutoTrader are probably your best bet.

Cannot figure out my engine #

I just realized you're in Canada. You may want to verify since I was talking in terms of USDM. Y8 motor would be the Civic Si motor there, I believe?I know your SiR is equal to our Si, so I assume your Si is an EX. This would mean an EX from Canada would have the y7 motor, which is not what you...
