I believe that transmission is from a B16A.

Exactly. They're even cheaper now. Prices at Hmotors are still super expensive.... Not dissing them, but these cars are 5 years more depreciated and their prices do not reflect that. At least with the CL market - it does. I know this because I just sold my motor this spring, and followed suit...
Yep. But you still pay way too much for them at places like this, unfortunately. I found my JDM B18B setup for $1110 years ago, on CL. 35k on it; just needed an ECU, a couple brackets, and axles, and I was set.
While sadly true, you can sometimes find some gems. I bought a transmission off CL once and I highly regret that one. Since he said a cost between 500-1000, I didn't recommend hmotors online... I checked those prices before posting and they were upwards of $2-3k for the motors
Yup, and here I am only doing IT work for the company and getting screwed over because of it haha.
I learned how to open an actuator the other day via bluetooth though. Awesome idea but being an IT security major I feel like it can easily be exploited....
I feel the burden from oil too. Price of oil down = lots of our projects are on hold or have been cancelled.. especially some bigger projects in Latin America. The worst part is because of that, no yearly bonus.. that's a couple grand no longer coming by way... boo
... But I save a few cents on...
I fully vouch for Swift - I have heard nothing but great things from them. I was actually looking for a Swift spring upgrade for my setup, but such thing does not exist unfortunately.
If you're looking to really be slammed correctly, I would look into air lift suspension. Big $$$ though...
Just keep in mind that cutting springs is very dangerous and is not supported or recommended by ClubCivic. We advise against it.

Yes, they will fix your issue. For only a short period of time. They're cheap and junky, and will not last long. If you buy them, you'll be creating another thread in a year asking what to upgrade to. Save your money and get something better.
