2004 Civic has trouble with acceleration...

Yeah, my thought here is slipping clutch, though I am not familiar with 7th gens. OP, try this test... accelerate to 25mph in 2nd or 3rd, then drop it into 5th and continue accelerating like normal. If the RPMs go up but the car is accelerating as it should, your clutch is slipping.

2004 Civic has trouble with acceleration...

Though something is odd... 4k @70 RPM? In 5th gear? That's too high. Confirmed by this thread: http://www.civicforums.com/forums/46-members-rides/165787-whats-your-rpm-above-70-mph.html

You guys hear about that shooting during live broadcast? Well, just as they thought they figured out who the shooter was, I went onto that dudes Twitter. He had JUST posted his own video of the shooting. You see him in first person mode pointing the gun at the woman, waiting a few seconds, and...

    neon lights

Something to do with aperture on the camera when the photo was taken, I think (idk photography very well). The blue is slightly exaggerated. The switch that toggled the LEDs on and off (also in the pic) was too bright, though. I rarely drove with them on anyways :thumbs up The boost and wideband...

    neon lights

I had blue LED under my seats that pointed forward to the feet. I wired a toggle switch into the dash (you can also see that in the pic below). Circa senior year of high school, 2007!

    neon lights

Install neon (probably actually LED these days) where you want, wire power up to some source such as parking lights (lights will turn on when you turn parking lights on), or to a constant power source with a switch to toggle them. Then find whatever bolt under there that would look to be a solid...

I checked his site, back when I made the purchase he didn't have the 3" flared option; it was either 2.5" w/AC or 3" w/ no AC. So my mistake on that! As for my car, the parts themselves held up great. I parted it all out last year because the body itself fell victim to rust and rot. Had 14-15k...

    Hi everybody

:welcome: to ClubCivic! What type of racing? Autocross? Drag? FWD vs RWD here, too. IMO I rather have a stock s2k than a built Eg, but I don't have plans on showing any of my buddies up either

:welcome: I did a B18 turbo build with the exact budget and goal as you. Hit 242whp and 210tq on the dyno, which was close enough for me. The price of Gregs street kits have gone down a good bit since I purchased it in 2010 -- good news for you. I had GA street kit, .60 trim turbo but Greg put...

    Civic Sedan in the snow?

FWIW my friend, with winter tires in a tC, slid off the road during a bad snowstorm. She smoked her face on the window and was all loopy talking about UFOs when we were visiting her in the hospital  She's all good though. But yeah, the best thing you can do for your car is get winter...

GAS: Best brand (top tier) and type (regular) of gas for mpg & maintenance?

No Chevrons or Texaco's out here. It's all Hess, Sunoco, and Mobil, and 7/11's. I drive 4 hours to my hometown and it's those minus 7/11 plus BP and Shell. So with all my options here, Hess gets my vote. (BP or Shell when visiting home)

    EJ8 keeps misfiring.

Did you get a high-flow cat? That can also trigger a CEL. Too little restriction so the readings between your primary and secondary o2 are too similar.. it thinks the cat isn't working and will throw the code. No worries now since the defouler trick would fix this issue too :thumbs up
