    Brake Light Receptacle Melted

Yeah, this also happened to me. But I had cheap altezza tail lights (I was 16, shut up), and were poorly made. Bulbs fused to the inner housing, so the only way to remove them was to shatter the bulb. I damaged the tail lights during this process, but since they were being replaced I brought...

    Tinting

My buddy tinted his truck himself. But he made sure to watch a lot of Youtube videos AND the long DVD that his tint kit came with. With that being said, after a few hours his tint came out damn near perfect. I was impressed for his first time. He then told me it was a PITA and he will just go to...

What are you in the mood for?

I have green tea every morning at work. f**k coffee! That being said, I am in the mood for golf. Luckily the first league round starts in a little over 2 hours. My goal is to lose less than 10 golf balls. We only play 9 holes.

    Engine hot gear hard

Sounds good! I would certainly get a better opinion than mine before you go and purchase everything, as this is just my best guess and I am not a mechanic. But a clutch kit should come with pilot bearing and tool. I hate to derail a thread, so in the future just create a new topic rather than...

    Window Tint: 35% or 50%

Personally, I would go with 35%. My friend had 50% on his Legacy GT, and it wasn't very noticeable both inside and out. If that's fine by you, I say go for it, as you want the benefits of UV and would still like to see. But I am a fan of dark tint (not stupid dark), as it just gives the car a...

    Connie's daily

Ironic.... I sold mine here in NY to some dude who came from Chicago to pick it up. That sucks it was totalled though! Never driven a boosted one sooo... I had a 2005 G35 fully loaded, picked it up with 55xxx miles. Nav, aero pkg, premium pkg, etc, and all stock except for a few minor...

    Cold air intake

At 3-15 hp and 3 different intakes, it's not worth dyno'ing each time IMO. This isn't tuning an ECU, it's a damn tube lol. EDIT: Unless you have frequent access to a dyno...

    Clutch problems.

Check for leaks. If your clutch fluid is leaking eventually it will get too low and cause the issues you're experiencing. The leak could be the slave cylinder, master cylinder, or anything in between. Slave cylinder is cheap and easy to replace. Master cylinder is a little more time consuming...

What are you doing / did you do today / CHAT THREAD

That's still 28 more bones than I've broken. I had a skateboard once... got pissed and sold it because I couldn't ollie  I will never forget the time my buddy and I were racing bicycles, and as he was winning, his front wheel stopped dead in a pothole and he flipped over and faced it hard...

    Engine hot gear hard

:welcome: If I understand correctly, you have an issue shifting gears once the engine warms up. The clutch pilot bearing or clutch would be my first guess. If it hasn't been done in a while, a transmission fluid flush might do wonders. I flushed mine last month and pulled a whole bunch of...

    Heat shield

Any of the heat shields can be removed, but keep in mind.... they shield heat, lol. With that being said, I removed the exhaust mani heat shield on my 6th gen as one of my first mods (it was rattling and annoying me), and never had an issue. I think many people remove them to be honest.
