hahaha now thats improvising. i don't have rear seat belts 
so i'm waiting for chains i guess. not like i can do much anyway. going to parents house for the weekend. but i should be picking up everything i need to get it finished this weekend (cross my fingers) then i might take a day off next week and just work on the car for the entire day. just get it running.
i just noticed this page has a surprising lack of pictures. my buddy burned off his tires so he asked if he could borrow mine. so his wheels are on my car at the moment. work nezarts

i'll take a pic tonight. they look pretty sick actually.I bet I would be surprised. Lol. Went to the junkyard but couldn't remove the bottom alternator bolt myself. No jacks allowed. f**k. So now I gotta call and get them to do it for me. Extra couple bucks. I also removed the D trans from the block to prep it for buyer.
sold the D16 to finance the purchase of two YS1 trans 
tonight i pick up alternator and power steering pump and bracket, tomorrow i rip out the engine, take off the trans, replace trans, put on PS, put on alternator, put engine back in, hook up shift linkage, attach throttle cable, attach clutch cable and the del sol should be up and running and driving oh! one of my buddies hooked me up with some drilled brakes for the front. which is epic because my stock ones were worn right to hell.

lol. ya i went with an LS. i picked up a complete swap for $350 and there wasn't many decent standard D's in my local wrecker. so i went with DOHC. Wasn't any b16's in the junkyard either. But a buddy is K swapping his 2000 sir so maybe i'll grab his head, and do LS/VTEC. or maybe just sell it.
please, do tell how i wrecked a del sol? aside from being nonvtec, its got about a 20hp/20tq jump from the D, and its got a GSR trans, plus cams and cam gears and everything was replaced recently before i bought it.
i see it as a learning project and being different from the average del sol.

especially with how light the sol is. lol. i'm a fan of what i'm doing. plus there are like 2 other del sols in my province (same as state for you american people lol) so i'm one of the few owners. its almost done. few more things and it can be zipped up again. until i decide what to do with it.

no updates yet took a week long vacation and spent too much money. but i should be picking up my parts tonight and putting them on tonight or wednesday. it'll be quick after the parts get here. just waiting for those. after that everything will be perfectly fine. and it'll be easy to put back together again.
