i know i refer to this car a lot...

but the 405hp stock sleeve Vitara sedan is daily driven, and hasnt had any issues at all

yeah i know that car....personally, i still wouldnt, but like i said, it CAN and HAS been done.

with my gsr ive got built, im going for 450whp on stock sleeves, and from my understanding b sleeves are stronger than d

il just shoot for around 250 for now. il build it up later and turn it up some more. for now il get some eagle rods, arp studs, and some vitara pistons. prolly pick up some rod bolts too. thanks guys

i was going to swap in a B but i just thought id spend that money on this motor and be alot faster than the B i was swapping in.

well on the way home from my friends car started acting up, check engine light was flashing, got it to oreilly and hooked it up and ive got a misfire in cyl 2 and p1399. ive had that last one before and fixed it so its no big deal. but i was low on oil and now the engines makin alot of noise so i may just rebuld it with all the parts i want then boost it. hopefully its not torn up too bad.

i put some oil in it and drove it to subway and its not making the noise anymore. not nearly as loud anyway if it is. just gotta clear the check engine lights and im good.

well this morning its making noise again and its misfiring again. looks like im just gonna tear it apart and rebuild it for boost.

im surprised no one mentioned getting your compression checked out first. before you even consider boost make sure your car can take it by getting a compression check. that will tell you if you need to rebuild it or not. THATS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER BOOST.
