Well I worked for a few hours getting some parts ready for paint. Here's what I've got.
Fist thing I did was finish sanding and scuffing the front bumper and getting some of the gouges and scratches out since I've had it for about 2 years just lying around. Ready to seal and paint

Here's the previously mentioned hardware

Who takes a new spoiler and scuffs the top of it? This guy. I am going to paint my spoiler like my daily. The top will be red like the car and the bottom will be carbon fiber. It's a little more subtle that way.

The door and the lip are tomorrow's project. I stripped the door down to just a bare frame and pressure washed it all. I'll take all the paint down and do filler work on it and have it primed tomorrow and I'll prime the whole lip after fixing the pinholes and minor imperfections in it. It's just time now with a tune in the near future.

I love how there are random aircraft parts in the background haha. Anyway great work so far, can't wait to see it with paint.

Lmao, gonna mount those to the roof so whenever a some hillbilly in a lifted truck tries to say something about hondas, you flip a switch and poof, they're gone?

Ok well I worked on my car for about 3.5 hours today. I didn't have time to do what I wanted because I chose to cook another one of my friends that goes to basic tomorrow a steak dinner. I do what I can for those who protect us and make their lives better. I wanted to stay for a few more hours and work but I got a fair amount done.
I took all the paint off the door and then sanded it down and put on my filler and roughed it in.

At the end of the day I got it roughed in and rewiped to finish. Should be done with it and primed within the week.

It's one of those things that isn't fully understood until you are a master of it. Even people at work still are troubled by it and I have to help them out from time to time and give some pointers. I might have time to finish it tomorrow or maybe tuesday. I'll get some pics of the final product and of the lip. Hrrrmmm, then it gets hairy. I've still to get in contact with the tuner I'll be using. I've only tried getting in touch with him twice but at off times so I need to schedule during the day. I still have some things I need to buy. It will be entertaining to see what I get in the end.

Well I got the door finished and everything prepped and primed today. Straight as an arrow. I guess it pays to be the man lol. But here are some pics of the primer which isn't quite dry yet. Pretty fresh. It's Dupont Chroma-surfacer for those who might wonder.

Some s**t came out of the gun and I put another pps lid on that I didn't take the filter out of after the bottom of the door.

Well I got a tune secession lined up for Saturday morning. I'll post some pics and the results, however good or bad they may be. Any takers on what it makes?

Well I got off work today and put the headlights, front bumper, spoiler, new tail light bulbs and aimed the headlights. Then I got my friend to drive my daily hatch behind me until I got home. Now to get her oil changed in it tomorrow and get it tuned Saturday morning. Let's hope it all goes well. Truth be told I get nervous every time an engine I build for myself or anyone else gets dyno'd. Even though I've done everything as I should.

I got the break in oil and a little coolant drip from one of the IACV hoses fixed with some better clamps. Tomorrow will be stressful.
