thanks....again though, it was hard work man. First 5 months, I'd loose MAYBE 3 lbs a month. I was a horrible eater in terms that I'd have 2 large meals the whole day. Now I eat 6 small meals which keeps my metabolism running. I think once my body finally got used to it...I started losing around 2-3lbs per week. Once in a 24 hour period I lost 4lbs! But that was overdoing it. I was going to the gym 7 days a week which is bad (no rest for the muscles). Now I go 5 days a week and go bike riding on Saturdays...I average 40 mile rides or so

Geez man, how did you "push" yourself to do it still when you weren't seeing progress?? That's amazing!; most people would have quit especially after losing only 3 pounds in those months....

That is where I'm weak... I get this huge rush of energy to do it and it just dies off withen 2 weeks of doing it because I don't see any results; I need to keep pushing...

Dude tripp, that's awesome! Good for you dude.

Me...? Well... I've been 130-135 since late middle school. I eat my ass off too. My metabolism has gone through the roof for the past several months as well. I've had fast food 7 times this week. This month? I don't even wanna count or look at my bank statement (never use cash, always swipe).

I know it'll catch up to me someday. My dad was the same as me. Was 120 at my age and couldn't gain a single pound for tens of years. Now he's a short chubby guy at 50+ .

I used to be that way. 22-24 did it to me... Booze, a heavier wallet to buy fast food, and eating when I'm bored did it to me.... Be careful and enjoy it...

Uhh... Do you know what I do? I eat fast food at 1am then crash. Every night I eat RIGHT before I sleep. Is it unhealthy? Sure as hell is. Am I aware it is? Sure am. Has it effected my weight at all? Sure hasn't. All I do is work, come home, sit on the computer for 7 hours until I sleep between midnight-3am, wake up at 8 for work (landscaping job and I STILL don't get that much exercise even though it is landscaping. they like me a lot so they put me on the easiest jobs).

Otherwise, I do not work out AT ALL. I hardly eat fruits. I eat veggies often, since I'm asian and most of our food is veggies.

Alcohol isn't an issue for me. I'm allergic to alcohol. I don't drink. Maybe a dozen or 2 times a year, if that. Probably less.

well...simply put, I was tired of being fat. For once I kept a new year's resolution. I knew it would not be easy but this time (since like you, I started like 10 times and quit) I just stuck it through. Now I hover around 168-172lbs and that's fine by me. I've gotten a bit "lazy" and am not as disciplined as before (in terms of eating), but i'm ok with that. I'd like to be 160lbs...and I know I can do it.

Also, when I was really disciplined, I'd never eat carbs after 3pm. that helped...ALOT.

Let me know if you need more help

And thanks Amej!

Yea if anyone has any questions on diet or training or anything cause I like to consider myself an enthusiast.

I use to be a distance runner, I'm about 6'1" and ran a ( 13.1 mile ) half marathon in 1:36, that's about a 7:20 pace. And I love running, but didn't like looking like a skeleton. So I started lifting and now I'm about 210 and pretty solid. I have about a 43" chest and a 31.5" waist. I bench 200x10 squat 315x10 deadlift 435x5. If you want a workout routine or something pm me or email me I love doing that stuff.

Peace.

ive been working out seriously for the past several years now and my advice to anyone who wants to lose weight is exercise regularly, do lots of cardio, and DONT SKIP WORKOUTS. stop trying all those dumb south beach and atkins diets and just get your ass in the gym. of course, eating clean will help as well.

methyl-d could be dangerous for anyone who has a history of prostate problems in their family. when you get into prohormones / prosteriods like that you shouldnt take them unless you really know what you're getting into. on the flip side, if you take them correctly they wont have any negative effects and you will see pretty good results. basically, if your not serious about working out, dont just jump into taking this kind of stuff expecting to get big fast.
