May I ask why you didn't just send the block to get hot tanked? lol Usually like 20 bucks and save the wife a heart attack...

Oh please tell me you are going to take that black paint off that PTE FMIC? I hate hate hate when people paint a part that is designed to COOL with paint that attracts HEAT!!! UGGh

Let me see if I can find it again, but there is a write up and test on a hot rod forum that showed painting a motor black reduced the heat. Black absorbs the heat better. It actually showed a operating temp drop just by painting the motor black. Yes I am goin to sand blast it to get that off they did a terrible job on it. I am goin to get some kind of flat black and mist it though cause I dont want it seen behind the bumper.

On the hot tank I didnt get it done cause there is only 2 shops here in town they are way over priced and way backed up. They wanted to charge me over $450 just to do a valve job on a head that was already pulled apart and pulled off the motor. They didnt have to do anything but the valves didnt even want it put back together.

They said it was the same price either way and I had other thing to do to it. Just wanted the valves done.

did you by any chance see the link in JohnS.'s sig? it talks about how camber kits are kind of a waist of money. just looking out for other members

No I didnt see that. I couldnt find it either. Anyone have a link to it? I got them and the shifter for $150 so I figured it was worth it.

I received my new suspension today. Got the JIC FLT-A1's, LCA's, Goodridge SS brake lines, front and rear camber kits installed today. Have to do final adjustments on it this weekend. Ran out of light and time.

I cant either. I still have to adjust the height and the camber kits to get all the wheels sitting even.
