civic loses to a neon

i didnt even bother reading the rest of this post... people dont you realise that your stock hondas are poo... except for the em's and ep's.... stock neons claim like 25 more hp over a stock 7th gen EX... just cuz its domestic doent mean you have to hate... although i myself despise neons... its w/e.... plus that hatch prolly had no more then 100 hp anyway. civics are well build slow ass economy cars.... you just need to invest a lil bit of money to make em fast...

And as for the SRT-4 I'm talking about a 99 SI not a 03 and even thou I was wrong because a 99 SI runs for 15000 blus book and yes Dodge says 19,000 but there is a little thing we all have to pay when we buy a new car and that is TAXES So that puts that 19,000 car to 21,000

dodge srt4's selling out the door here in town for $19000. whereas si's selling out the door for $23000. oh and... we dont have sales tax here in oregon the price on the sticker is actually the price... i f**king hate sales tax

and what civic are driving at 140mph? that sounds kinda bs too me, and even if it was true that 140mph sure as hell isnt in the 1/4 mile or in autox.. so once again.. dodge 2 honda 0

and on top of that you're comparing the cost of a brand new car to the cost of a 5 year old car.... pointless.

he's talking about the srt4 "neon". 230hp, 250ft/lp torque turbocharged for $19000 it does have viper replica seets in it though.

and i still love it that the only cars the srt4 can be compared to cost $10k+ more... priceless

so lets recap, the two cars that honda makes that are faster than a stock srt4 are 1, the s2000 and 2, the nsx...... loverly ain it?

that's my point... there is no new car in it's price range that's even close to the srt4 in performance. dodge

Neons in general all have bigger engines. Therefore naturally having more power (at least torque). But they are heavy for there size and dont use there power particulary well.

It's his passing gear kicking in. He floors it, engine revs to 5000, drops to 3000, switches gears again and flies right back to 5000. It's devastating.

horsepower numbers are just numbers. you take v6 camaro numbers like i guess close to 190hp, and the numbers for my car 106hp with i/h/e. if you look at those numbers the camaro would kill me right? well i took one down last weekend, twice. he wasn't a begginer either. this proves you can't go by hp numbers. and by the that was probably a std civic with no exhaust and 60hp. and for another thing if someone gave me an srt-4 i would sell it and buy a honda.

he may nothave been a beginner but i can surely tell you that he couldnt drive at all. and the std 4th gens had like 92 hp...
