horsepower numbers are just numbers. you take v6 camaro numbers like i guess close to 190hp, and the numbers for my car 106hp with i/h/e. if you look at those numbers the camaro would kill me right? well i took one down last weekend, twice. he wasn't a begginer either. this proves you can't go by hp numbers. and by the that was probably a std civic with no exhaust and 60hp. and for another thing if someone gave me an srt-4 i would sell it and buy a honda.

for one thing, you're a liar or he doesnt know how to drive. and go ahead and trade the srt4 for a honda, hell even an Integra Type R... a srt4 would still leave yah in the dust. 2nd place is #1 loser

Depends on which V6 Camaro, 4th gen 3.4l is more like 160 hp, 3.8l is about 200hp. 3rd gen with a 3.1 or 2.8 gets beat up by my weak @$$ EX.

SRT/4's are technically not Neons, at least not at the dealership. Yeah I know the archetecture is the same but Dodge doesn't associate the two together.

i wouldnt get an srt-4 over a civic either. srt-4 are like neons, and neons look like s**t.
yeah srt-4's are cheaper and fast for what they cost, but there aint no fun on it, theres nothin better than to mod your car yourself. (on my opinion)
also the srt-4 its turbocharged, how bout u turbocharge any honda with a b series motor and see what the results would be. and still the displacement would be smaller.

considering 99/00 si's make up less than %5 of civics on the roads and that they and the 7th gen si's are the ONLY civics with the potential to beat even the sohc neons, you have a very weak argument. and dont make me bring up the 13/14 second srt4. what honda's can run constant low 14's and even dip into the 13 second 1/4's bone stock for under $20k?

neons arent slow. id take a srt-4 over a honda anyday, if i were to base everything on power...it doesnt handle good, thats where im dissapointed in it. anywho, an srt4 is a neon, according to the papers dealing with insurance, according to carfax its a neon srt-4. its the same chassis, its the same design! saying its not a neon is like saying an itr isnt an integra. the srt4 is the premium sports edition of the neon line. those who think its not a neon are stupid.

it's a neon without any of the usuall neon problems. srt4 has an all new motor/tranny/turbo/computer setup that KICKS ASS!

face it everyone, no matter how much of a honda lover you are, srt4s are quicker STOCK than a STOCK civic, and keep in mind those two cars are in the same price range, comparing a srt4 to a s2k is rediculous--look at the price difference. all in all a honda can beat a srt4 it jus takes some work, honda doesn't produce a civic meant for a turbo filled block of fun, c'mon guys thats where the fun of customizing comes in, you want a fast ass car you dont have to modify go buy a lamborghini

Great another comparision about turbo neons against stock civics. I anit gonna let a freaking neon beat me. Civic's got more than enough aftermarket support, where a neon does not have, so they stick to factory performance.
