Sorry no new pics guys. last nite was pretty much 5 hours of wasted time on my car. Got the Power steering pump in only to realize the high pressure fitting is different, my a/c needs to be completely changed, and I'm still fighting with the wiring. I wont be doing any other work to the car this week since I havent spent any time at home with my daughter or girlfriend. Pretty much the only thing that went without any probs last nite was the type R valve cover. and thats only temporary till I get my Blue one from the poweder coater. So if anyone wants to help out.. here's some things I need.......

P/S pump from DA Integra 91-93. R12 A/C condenser and compressor. 92-93 civic. also need the a/c bracket from older b16a1/2 If anyone wants to trade for this stuff I have a NEAR NEW P/S pump from 00 SI and complete R134 A/C system... I Mean complete. all lines, condenser, drier, accumulator, control unit...... I just need to swap for an older system. Also if anyone has a RHD front clip laying around, I need the interior harness........ thanks guys.

sorry no progress on the car this week... needed to take some time off from it so I did not get burnt out. I will be pulling the harness back out of it tonight so I can finish fixing it this weekend. pretty much the only other things done to it since the last pics are a OE Honda Type R valve cover, The addition of a Gathers Radio, and realizing that I need a different A/C setup and different Powersteering pump. New goal is to have her driving by next weekend. soo look for alot of work next week.

thanks for the positive mugen_tuned. Emin.. I have put money into the motor as well, It has a Supercharged gsr motor going in. And when its done it WILL be really nice. The car will be exactly what I want it to be, Not a cookie cutter copy like so many civics and imports on the road today. I figure, 12k that might sound like alot of money. But honestly, I paid 18k for my galant, Its a nice car, but it needs a few things to be what I want. So 12k for EXACTLY the car I have always wanted, plus the satisfaction of knowing I built it, and the fact that almost every part of the car is new, means I will be able to enjoy my car for along time, and if in the future someone else wants to buy it, they also will be able to enjoy it for a long time. its really not alot of money when compared to what I would have spent if it was a '70 olds 442 that needed to be restored, or if it was a nissan P/U that I wanted to body drop. Hell, it would cost me 12-15K for a 99-00 SI that wouldnt be nearly as fun or fast. So I don't feel I have wasted any money, wasted any time, or really care if people don't understand my passion for cars and the satisfaction that comes from knowing that I did this and did not pay some people to make my car for me. Thanks for everyone that show support for my love of the car. I will have some pics posted today of the freshly painted firewall and engine bay. tomorrow the wiring and motor should be in there new home.
props to you dude. thats the kinda attitude i like to hear 8)
Congrats on an extremely nice car!!!!

Sorry, It's an OBX-R full cat back system, that we took the test pipe out of, put in a corvette c5 cat, and cut the obnoxious 4" coffee can off the back, and I put a flowmaster on it. The flow master sounds WAY better, and I did not take a hit in performance, and I can hear my stereo and talk to my passanger with it in.

and thats what I am left with. So I guess its no longer an OBX full system, I am just using there mandrel bent tubing and resonator. and some small block chevy parts.

Well I finally got off my ass and did some work to my car today. I took pictures, but my dumb ass left the disk@work, so I will have them posted monday. Got almost the whole floor covered in dyna mat, got the dash dyed and installed, got the column in, got one door on, left the rt door off so I have more room to finish the wiring, bolted the hood on, got the front wiring run for the lamps and stuff.. also upgraded the fuel pump and replaced the sender from one from a 00 SI, so I will even have a low fuel light. so I'm down to a few things.

List 'O things to finish

Finish the interior harness wiring **splicing the EG6 rear harness with my hatchie.
Install engine harness when it comes
Wire engine harness for JRSC
Bleed the brakes and clutch
oil,coolant,trans fluid
windshield
carpet **not till after its painted**
change the column switches for the RHD ones
fab the brackets for my RHD EK9 center consol
install the interior
double check all the bolts
put on the lt door
swap the door harnesses from lt to rt

I think thats about it..... so not much left to get her going.. I ended up ordering a RHD engine harness so I dont have to use the GSR harness I butchered. It doesnt look good and much rather have the stock harness for the car. after I get her mobil, I will finish up the body work one panel at a time and get her all primed and blocked.. then it gets color and EG6 bronze glass... Pics will be up monday..

actually 96Dx, I have wanted a RHD car since before you were born. I was in JR highschool and a friend had a RHD 55 Bug, So JDM has nothing to do with it, I finally have a job that allows me to do this and its something for me.. Not for the approval of anyone else, not to impress people, not to be cool... I am doing it because its what I want, I can do it, and I will be hard pressed to run into anyone else with a car like mine. just one more way to have something few others have.
